The preferred photo should be high resolution with a minimum measurement of 2560 x 1980 pixels at 300 DPI and a file size of no less than 3MB. Images with resolution lower than the requested size will not enlarge and print clearly for framing, resulting in disqualification for judging.

  • If photos are taken via a Cell Phone, the photo must be submitted Actual Size.
  • Participants can submit up to three (3) photos, but are only eligible to win on one submission.
  • Photographers of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate! Youth participants must have authorization from a parent/guardian.
  • Photos must be submitted with name, location of picture, and best contact number.
  • Any photos which were taken outside of City limits will be disqualified.
  • Capture the Beauty of Greenacres! All of the photos submitted must be within Greenacres city limits.
  • The top three photos will be displayed in City Hall for three months. Prizes in the form of gift cards will be given out to the First, Second, and Third place photos which will be decided by a random selection committee. Winners will be revealed at a City Council Meeting, and then recognized via Facebook and the City’s website. Photo contest is open to residents, non residents, and City employees. Photographers of all ages are encouraged to send those great shots of the City’s stunning architecture, beautiful parks, events, local businesses, or our residents and visitors having fun in the city! The photo must be of a scene taken in Greenacres, Florida. Photos submitted may be used by the City for marketing and/or promotional purposes. The City of Greenacres is holding their Annual City Photo Contest from January 4 to September 8, 2023. Be sure to follow our social media and sign up for the City's newsletter to get updates on upcoming events.
